The second stage of the Tour de France for the Vosges comprises 170 km, Gerardmer to Mulhouse (pronounced "Mulus" no "Muljaus") and offers the highest first-class Tour 2014: Markstein, nearly seven miles of rise to an average of 5.4% gradient.
