The second stage of the Tour de France for the Vosges comprises 170 km, Gerardmer to Mulhouse (pronounced "Mulus" no "Muljaus") and offers the highest first-class Tour 2014: Markstein, nearly seven miles of rise to an average of 5.4% gradient. The day includes six ports in total, but all are in the first 127 kilometers, where ends the last day, the Grand Ballon, who scored as third because in fact climbs as an addition of Markstein and are only 1,400 meters.
