According to the company, itslearning's "integrated lesson planner is now accessible on any device," so teachers can more easily share lessons and their related resources and activities with students and parents. Additionally, the platform now offers a custom learning objectives repository, in addition english to its existing national learning objectives repository, and teachers can share student learning english objectives with students and parents.
The custom learning objective repository also supports professional development for teachers and staff. Districts can add standards like the Georgia Teacher Keys Effectiveness System (TKES) to the repository and align them with professional english development resources. Districts that use standards-aligned assessment criteria for teacher english evaluations can enter the assessment results in the itslearning recommendation engine to identify relevant professional development resources for teachers.
The itslearning mentoring feature "now allows students to be assigned to a mentor when developing individual learning plans," according to the company. While school counselors have traditionally served as student mentors, english itslearning now offers english more mentoring options, including community members as student english mentors and master teachers as mentors of new teachers.
New features of itslearning include: Student-focused lesson planner; Customizable site-level learning objectives for student learning goals; Improvements in the mentor/mentee relationship for individual learning plans; Enhancements to the shared calendar, including improved interactivity, collaboration, filtering, navigation, event categorization and resizing; and Interface to access Dropbox account and upload files from Dropbox to itslearning.
