The Words (reflection) - Taringa!
More
The story goes that on one occasion, a wise teacher addressed his attentive audience giving valuable lessons about the power of what we say, and the influence it exerts on our lives and those of others.
What you say has no value-I questioned a man who was in the audience. The teacher listened carefully and as soon finish the sentence, shouted loudly: Shut up, stupid !! and sit down, idiot !!.
To the amazement of the people, the aforementioned filled with rage, released several printings and was beside himself when the teacher raised his voice and said: Excuse me sir, have offended you and ask forgiveness; accept my sincere apologies and know that I respect your opinion, but we disagree.
The teacher smiled and said: Excuse me you have been this way, but so have all seen most clearly, the great power of words: In a few words I exalt, and a few others I calmed down.
The words heal or injure a person. For this reason, the Greeks said that the word was divine and philosophers praised silence. Think about it and watch your thoughts, for they become words, and watch your words, for they mark your destination.
